The Mangler: This double bladed in-line spinner bait made me rethink the in-line spinner altogether. My goto bait for years has been something plastic--NOT ANY MORE. This bait has become my Primary bait and my goto bait. I used this bait on my spinning outfit with 8# test line and I used it on my baitcaster with 15# test line and the bait performed flawlessly. It was very easy to cast with either outfit and the blade never failed to spin like so many of the single bladed in-line spinners. My favorite is the yellow/brown and the silver/blue. And the best part was that I caught fish, I caught one smallmouth bass, several largemouth bass, a walleye and one bluegill. The sizes of the fish ranged from the 8oz bluegill to a 5.5# largemouth. I always beleived that in order to catch large fish, you needed a large bait, but I was using the same size bait for all the fish I caught. Anytime I am on the lake fishing I will have one of the MANGLER's tied onto at least one rod. Check them out at the website: www.themangler.com HIGHLY RECOMMENDED---------EXCEPTIONAL BAIT
Deer Clover: by Superior Wildlife Feed Co.Deer clover is a white clover that deer absolutly love. I planted some Deer Clover on a hillside field that was well drained and had been bull-dosed to remove the underbrush. I thought that the seed had been washed completly away. Two days after spreading the seed, we had a gully washer of a rain storm that lasted for over an hour. I was sure that the seed was washed down the hollow but if you look on my pics page, you can see that not all of it had washed away. I think the clover done exceptionally well given the circumstances. You can also see the 7 pointer that I harvested on the pics page, that was coming to fill his belly on the clover. The 7 pointer was not the only deer that I observed feeding in the clover, opening day I saw 2 does eating the Deer Clover and after further looking I found some buck tracks around the field. So the second evening of the rifle season found me watching the clover field and sure enough, here comes the 7 pointer that helped me fill my deer tag. I believe that this Deer Clover helped to attract deer to that area, I also think that if we had not had such a bad rain storm, the clover would have been as thick as carpet. Recommended
Rack Max : This is a plant growth stimulant that I had the privilege to use on my deer food plot and on my home grown tomato plants. I planted a half acre field with white clover as a deer food plot last year. I treatedthe clover when it was three inches tall according to the recommended directions......and in three weeks ithad grown to ten inches tall. This alone was incredible since where I had planted was very dry and sunny. Another amazing fact was where I had planted the clover was not a major deer feeding area and I had seen veryfew deer tracks around this field. After planting the clover and treating it with Rack Max I started to see more and more deer activity in this area. By hunting season a buck had made a scrape line on the perimeter of my clover field, which by the way, lead to his demise. I harvested a 170 pound 7 pointer on the second day of gun season. Pictures of me and the deer are on the pics page. It seems that the deer preferred the treated clover over the corn and soy bean fields that are located in this area.
I also treated my tomato plants at home with the Rack Max to see what effect it would have on them. The
tomato plants outgrew my 6 foot tomato stakes. I also noticed that as the days passed, I didn't have to water the plants, they stayed green and had green tomatoes on them when it frosted. I also had enough tomatoes for myself and my neighbors from 6 plants. They also tasted sweeter, maybe because of the Rack Max or maybe because they were my tomatoes. Needless to say, I will be using Rack Max on anything that I plant this year, food plot, tomatoes, flowers, ect.

Vmass: Vitamin Mineral Supplement and Attractant: This is deer attractant that is also good for the deer. Not just a plain old salt lick, this has minerals and some other stuff in it that is actually good for the deer. The aroma attracts the deer and the minerals in Vmass holds deer in the area. It is very simple and easy to apply, I just dug a hole about 1 foot square and about 8-10" deep, pour in the Vmass and kick a little dirt back over it, the deer will find it. I placed Vmass near a field I had planted with clover and 2 days after I had put the Vmass out, the deer had dug it up and was eating it. I wanted to see how well it works, so I covered it with dirt again and checked it 3 days later. The deer had dug it up more than they had before. Where I put the Vmass was a travel route for the deer, but I started seeing more tracks and finally realized that the deer were hanging around this area more since I was using the Vmass. The 7 pointer on the pics page was the one I harvested within 40 yards of where the Vmass was placed. The only thing I found was that the deer slacked off on using as much of the Vmass in cold weather as compared to hot weather. I could tell that the deer was still using the Vmass, but not as much. But any deer hunter knows that the hotter the weather, the more minerals a deer needs. But the amazing part was that the deer was still hanging around this particular area through hunting season. Recommended
Update:: The Mangler: Same great lure in a smaller size, 1/4 oz. The Mangler still is the best fish catching lure in my tackle box. Now in a smaller size, it not only catches small fish like brook trout but the finicky big fish like the smaller size too. The smaller size is also great for the fisherman that uses the ultralight outfit, it's also great for the kids too. Cox Lures also makes the Mangler in the 3/8 oz which I use and in a 1/2 oz which I am going to try out in Florida this spring for some saltwater species.( That means whatever will bite) If you haven't tried this lure yet, order some now for that spring fishing trip.
Alpine Aire Foods: These food products are the REAL thing. No preservatives, artificial flavors or anything else except good food. Easy to prepare, just add boiling water to the pouch they come in or in a pot. They are easily packable in your backpack and are very light weight. Makes a delightful shore lunch while your fishing or put them in your camper for a quick, easy to fix lunch during your busy schedule. I use them for backpacking overnight and for all day excursions. All that it takes to fix them is 2.5 cups of boiling water added to the pouch that the meal comes in. But best of all, they are good. My grandkids are partial to the Forever Young Macaroni and Cheese. My wife likes the Mountain Chili and I like the Chicken Gumbo and the Texas BBQ Chicken, but I like things a little spicy. They also have a three to five year shelf life so you can use them to stock up for emergencies, like the power going off this winter and you having a electric range. A candle can heat 2.5 cups of water and most everyone has candles in their homes. And as the director of Homeland Security Tom Ridge has advertised, it is better to be prepared. The Alpine Aire Foods are a delicious way to do that. Very Good Delicious Product-----Recommended
Oasis Dates from the Oasis Date Gardens: Well folks, I guess I have had my head stuck in the sand, but I bet I'm not the only one. I have never thought of dates as being a snack food. The wife uses them at Christmas and I just didn't think of them at other times. Well I'll tell you this, if you haven't tried them at other times and as a snack, you don't know what your missing. I carried them with me while fishing and hunting this year and they were delicious. Even took dates with me on a hiking trip. They are easy to carry, weigh almost nothing and are great as a quick snack to pep you up because they are naturally sweet. They are easy to pack along, requires no refrigeration unless you want to keep them for a while and you don't need to cook them. This is a great alternative to the usual snacks that I take along like candy bars or lunch cakes that get squished in my fanny pack. If you stay afield all day like I do, hunting, fishing, or hiking, you really need to check out some of the dates from Oasis Date Gardens. I'm sure they will have something that suits your taste and is healthier for you too. And if your looking for gift ideas, check out the Oasis Date Garden website for some delicious ideas. Highly Recommended and Delicious
Harmon Deer Scents: Deer hunters, here is a line of products that WORK. I have not gotten a deer because of my personal requirements, not because I haven't had deer close. The rut is not in full swing here in Ky and I haven't tried the Triple Heat scent. What I have tried was the Acorn scent and the Fall Hunting Blend Human Scent-Kil. The Acorn scent I put in a Scent Saver and hung it from a bush, the Fall Hunting Blend I sprayed on my outer clothing while hunting the first black powder season on Oct 18-19. I don't use a tree stand when gun hunting so I was on the ground the first day and had a doe walk up to 10 yards from me on the downwind side. Five minutes later a 4 pointer walked up on the same path. Both deer played around for about 15 minutes before walking out of sight. Neither deer winded me though. I was hunting from the ground Sunday morning when I had a doe walk up within spitting distance and actually walked around me and go down the hill. This amazed me in that neither day did I have deer to smell me. In my opinion the Human Scent-Kil in conjunction with the Acorn scent really worked for me. I can hardly wait until the rut so that I can try the Triple Heat scent.
UPDATE: This is one update that I am happy to make, check out the deer on the pics page. I was using the Harmons Triple Heat Scent along with the Harmons Dominate Buck Scent when I harvested the 7-pointer. The deer had a scrape in the upper end of a field I was hunting and he was coming to the scrape from the downwind side. Along with the Harmon Scents, I was using a deer grunt call, the buck just couldn't stand the idea of another buck in his area chasing his does. This is one scent that works, I've got the proof and it is going to taste good this winter. Highly Recommended----------TWO THUMBS UP ON THIS ONE
Quaker Boy Game Calls: Check out the coyote on the pics page along with the 7-pointer I harvested on the this gun season. The first day of gun season I was hunting a field where some deer scrape activity was going on. I got there a little early for deer to be moving so I decided to try predator hunting since the only time we can coyote hunt is in deer season. I started with the Quaker Boy Cottontail Screamer and would occasionally throw in some sounds from a Quaker Boy Super Screamer. In about 30 minutes I heard some noise coming down the hollow. Out of the hollow and into the field came the coyote looking for a easy meal of rabbit. He received a different kind of meal though, he is pictured on the pics page. Before I left the area that evening I doctored a scrape I had been watching.

The second evening of gun season I was again watching the scrape I had doctored the evening before around the same field where I harvested the coyote. I was using the Quaker Boy Hammer Head Deer Grunt Call along with The Pipe doe and fawn bleat. I had been there about 45 minutes when I heard him start down the ridge. When I saw him come around the point about 50 yards away I grunted softly and he stopped. I rested the rifle and pulled the trigger and you can see the results on the pics page. And that ended my deer season since we can only harvest one antlered deer per year. It's not very often you can find products that work without flaw, but Quaker Boy has come up with some predator calls and deer calls that work every time you use them without giving you trouble.
They also make a variety of other calls too. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

The Crimson Talon by Spintite: This broadhead quite possibly will revolutionize the industry of fixed blade broadheads. The Talon stabilizes the arrow from the broadhead end of the arrow. This assures a stable flight without the common problem of wind plane. These fixed blade broadheads flew just as straight and true as my field points. They have a one & one quarter inch cutting diameter and weigh only 100 grains. The package says no tuning required so I tried just that, I screwed them on and tried them. True to what it says, while I was practicing all the arrows flew alike, I even cut some of my fletching on previously shot arrows. And best of all, I didn't need to re-adjust my sights because of flight difference between my field points and the broadheads. This is a AWESOME broadhead. Recommended
Heater Meals: These meals are possibly the most convenient meals to prepare that I have ever encountered. They are packaged in a fully self contained unit that heats itself and the meal can be eaten from the same container if you want to. I took these with me on a fishing trip and didn't need a stove to heat them or a refrigerator to keep them in, I didn't even need a fork or seasoning because they come with the meal. All the meals I tried were 12oz. which was just about right for one person. The meals that I tried were the mashed potatoes and turkey breast, 3 cheese lasagna, and pepper steak & rice. They tasted great and best of all was I didn't need to wash dishes. After you are finished, just throw the whole unit in the trash. These would also be a nice thing to have around in emergencies, as Tom Ridge says, lets be prepared. I give this product Two Thumbs UP. Recommended
Pack-lite Foods: Hey folks, this is some great back packing food. Light weight, easy to pack in your backpack, convenient, easy to prepare and comes in a resealable plastic bag. My favorites are the convenient Hikers Oatmeal, in which I just added hot water to the bag and the Jambalaya which I needed a 3 quart pot to prepare. If you like things a little spicy like I do, you will really like the Jambalaya. While hiking I enjoyed the Wasa crackers with cheese or peanut butter spread. Some other really tasty delights are the Wild Rice Dinner, the Bean & Lentil Chili, and the Meals with Wheels. Most all of the meals are enough to feed two people or one really hungry hiker. Very simple to prepare, just add the meal to water and heat for usually 5-10 minutes. If you hike, backpack, or just out for the day,Pack-lite has something to take along. Recommended
Mountain Brook Foods: This is without a doubt some of the tastiest dried foods that I have ever tried. My favorite is the Dried Fruit Cocktail. I used it as a trail mix, just put some in a resealable bag and put it in your pack, it tastes great out on the trail. It can also be mixed with water to reconstitute it and it makes it's own syrup. I found that my grandkids like the Cheddar Cheese Powder sprinkled over cooked macaroni, of course they are macaroni freaks anyway. It is also delicious sprinkled over a baked potato or anything else you like cheese on. The products come in 2 sizes of resealable cans and according to their website, have a very long shelf life. This reminds me of the commercial on homeland security about being prepared, this would be a great item to stock in case of emergencies. I highly recommend this product. Highly Recommended
Skimmer Tackle: This is possibly some of the best made fishing tackle in the world. I have tried the Skimmer brand of buzzbait and found it to work without flaw. The best part is the action and sound it creates with it's opposite turning blades. The buzzbait can be retreived extremly slow allowing for tremendous strikes while staying on top of the water. It takes very little effort to bring this bait to the top and keep it there. I caught several bass on the buzzbait and even had some large panfish strike the lure. I also have one of the Skimmer brand of bucktail spinners used for musky. This bucktail is well made and works wonderfully although I haven't had a chance to try it out on musky, Yet! Bass fishermen as well as musky and pike fishermen need to check out the Skimmer Brand of tackle, you will be delighted. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Gibbs Fishing: Most people in this area don't think about using baits that fishermen farther north use. I tried some of Gibbs Fishing One Eyed Wigglers on fish here in Kentucky and they worked great. The Wiggler's flash and color patterns really attract the fish. I found that I was getting hits from bass, panfish, and trout. I also tried the Wigglers in the trout stream below Wolf Creek Dam and caught several rainbow trout. I am like most bass fishermen, I never would have thought of using a spoon type lure to bass fish, but I have to tell you, these things work, and work pretty darn good too. And of course they can be used for trolling. I found that I caught more fish on the silver and the silver-brass colors. If you are tired of the same old fishing method, tie on one of these One-Eyed Wigglers and give it a cast, you won't be disappointed. Recommended
ISG Fishing: Innovative Sports Group, the names says a lot. ISG has some soft plastic lures that are simply amazing. My favorites are the Mudd Puppy and the Bass Intimidator Jig. The Mudd Puppy is just that, a mud puppy, although some folks don't know what a mud puppy looks like and I have even had some tell me there is no such creature. Growing up, we called them a water dog. Whatever you want to call them, they catch fish, especially in lakes with heavy fishing pressure. I found that something a little different will usually catch fish. That is exactly what the Mudd Puppy and the Bass Intimidator do the best. I used the green Mudd Puppy on a Texas rig and a blue Intimidator jig and caught several 1 -3 pound largemouth bass. The 5lb bass are very hard to find this time of year. ISG makes some awesome tube baits also. They also make some other types of lures for musky and walleye fishing. As I said before, these lures are INNOVATIVE. I definitly give this company and its lures ----TWO THUMBS UP
Streamlight: If you have ever been night fishing then you know how difficult it is trying to change baits, bait a hook, or tie on a new lure. Streamlight has a product to eliminate those problems. The Green Trident light will help you do all those things while keeping your hands free. This light has a headband that is adjustable that won't slide off your head when you look down and the light itself has the capability of being pointed down also. It comes with three different light bulbs in it, a green bulb so you don't ruin your night vision, two white bulbs for mid range brightness and another bulb for longer ranges. This light has ended my problems of trying to hold a flashlight between my knees while tying on a lure and fighting off the bugs all at the same time. I do not hunt racoons but I have had several coon hunters ask me how to get one of these lights. They are impressed by the lighting capabilities and the hands free operation. Streamlight also makes a Green Stylus light for hunters. This light makes it possible for other hunters to see you and not have to guess what is moving through the woods. How many times have you walked into a heavily hunted area just about daylight not knowing who or what type of hunters were there. This light makes it possible for those hunters to know it is human and not something they want to shoot. I am extremly impressed with these products and Streamlight makes a lot more lighting products for the professional and the amateur. Two Thumbs Up----------------Highly Recommended
Trail Blazer Products: These are probably some of the best made and most helpful products on the market for an outdoorsman. The folding knife is well made and very sharp, it also carries a good edge on the blade that doesn't dull the first time you use it. The knife also has a saw blade for trimming small branches out of your way. Both blades lock into place and the knife also has a extension handle that can be used. The folding tree trimer along with the telescopic handle extension makes short work of tree limbs whether trimming around the house or cutting a shooting lane for hunting. This blade also locks into place. The folding buck saw is what I have used the most. It is very simple to assemble and works great. I have used this saw extensivily on camping trips this summer, and found it to be very reliable, sharp, and easy to use. These products in my opinion are some of the best made on the market today. Very Reliable------------------------------------------------Recommended
Sun Glovesby Glacier Glove: This is truly an amazing product that someone has developed.; I have been using these gloves for about everything I do out in the sun, especially this time of year. I wear them fishing in which the open ended fingers lets me change baits or bait a hook very easily. I wear them mowing the grass in which the synthetic palms of the gloves give me great grip on the lawn mower handle. I wear them while driving the boat for the grip, I have even wore them while driving the car just because of the grip they provide. They also protect my hands from the sun as they were designed to do. The backs of my hands cut and scratch very easily because of some of the meds that I take, and these gloves protect my hands from these cuts and scratches while hiking and camping. And best of all, they are cool. Excellent Product------------------------------------------------TWO THUMBS UP
Mr Goop Fish Formula: This fish attractant is a excellent formula. The liquid is thick so that is stays on the baits that you apply it to longer than anything else I have tried so far. The smallmouth on the pics page were caught using Mr Goop on the buzzbait and the spinner bait. It is made to be used on all types of crankbaits. It is very easy to apply and lasts through dozens of casts. It seems to leave a scent trail in the water that attracts the fish . I had several small fish follow the baits with the Mr Goop on them right up to the boat, even though they were to small to strike the baits I was using. I didn't try it, but I beleive this would be an excellent substance to put inside a tube bait also.
This seems to be a very good product. R

Nemire Lures: One of if not the smoothest running buzzbaits that I have ever used. The in-line design of this lure makes it a pleasure to use. This buzzbait comes to the top very easily and the blade never failed to turn. It was easy to cast and most of all you can cast it for long distances. The only fault that I could find was that if you wanted the best action, you need to retrieve it faster than you do most buzzbaits. But the action is there along with the sound chamber designed into the lure body. So much action and sound, that I was able to draw a smallmouth from deep water and had an astounding strike on this buzzbait. Check out the picture on the pics page of the smallie with the lure still in it's mouth. I was using the shiny black Nemire Buzzbait when I caught this smallie. Nemire makes the buzzbaits in the shiny black, silver, and gold. They also make spoons with the sound chamber also. I haven't tried the spoons yet, but I will update the review when I do. The buzzbaits and spoons come in a variety of sizes also. TWO THUMBS UP FOR THIS ONE
Leverage Lures: This is one good looking bass bait that has a trick built in to help you catch and boat more fish. The hook, besides being very sharp, it is also flexible. This flexibility reduces the missed strikes and the thrown hooks. By being flexible, the fish can't shake the hook loose. Take a look at the smallmouth that I caught on Laurel Lake using the Leverage Lure spinnerbait. Anyone that has hooked a smallie knows how good they are at getting off the hook, but not with this bait. The company also builds this flexible hook system into their buzzbaits. This is a very good bass bait that performs and casts like a dream. It performs well when you let it flutter down through the water or when bouncing it along the bottom, or use it as I was, just pulling it along like a normal spinnerbait. RECOMMENDED
Precision Bait Company: The makers of Crab Imperial and Sticky Shrimp fish attractant have an excellent product that actually catches fish. You can see the results on the pics page of this website. I wanted to see if this stuff worked, so I baited one rod with a catfish sponge bait soaked with the fish attractant and another rod with either a nightcrawler or a crawfish. All the catfish that were caught, except one, was caught using the sponge bait and fish attractant. The one caught on a nightcrawler was one of the smaller ones. The catfish readily hit the bait and would try to swim off with it, you knew when you were getting a bite. I am going to try the fish attractants on my bass baits next. This is a very good product and I would recommend it, check it out on their website at: www.attractfish.com or click the icon at the right. Recommended------Thumbs Up
Frogg Toggs: This is a extremly light weight rain suit that gives you freedom of movement besides keeping you dry. Very easy to put on and take off for those unexpected showers. Mine is the camo and blends in very well with any enviroment. Another plus is that you can work in the Frogg Toggs and not get sweaty because it is breathable. It has rained here everyday and sometimes all day which keep most folks in the house, but I have been able to plant a deer food plot, go fishing, and even work in the garden while it was raining because of this rainsuit. No longer do I head for the house when a shower comes up, but please be careful of being out in a storm. You won't get wet while wearing the Frogg Togg, but this time of year the storms can be dangerous. If you really enjoy the outdoors, you need to take a look at this reasonably priced rainsuit at the website: www.froggtoggs.com
I Recommend This Rainsuit To Anyone That Enjoys The Great Outdoors---------- ---Highly Recommended
Mr Twister Baits with Exude: The new Mr Twister Baits with Exude are in a word, EXCEPTIONAL. I have tried these soft plastic baits on my home lake, which is very difficult to fish because of fishing pressure and they worked extremly well. The bass really liked the EXUDE in these baits ( although I don't know exactly what EXUDE is other than a scent ). The bass readily picked up the baits and held them longer than the soft plastics that I nornally use allowing me more time to feel the fish and set the hook. Another plus is that I don't have to worry about spilling that smelly stuff all over the carpet in the boat. Check at your local bait shop or check it out at their website : www.mistertwister.com Unconditionally Recommended
Solar Stop: by Glacier Glove: If you have ever spent a sunny day on the lake you have probably had your neck and ears sunburnt. Well SOLAR STOP will end that forever. This will turn your everyday fishing or golfing hat into a sun hat. It fastens around your hat and covers the back of your neck and ears to protect you on those sunny days. It can be treated with bug repellant if needed and can even be dampened for an extra cooling effect. Another plus is that you don't get the slippery sunblock on your hands then transfer it to your golf club handles or your fishing baits or other items. If you spend time outdoors I WOULD CHECK THIS OUT. Website: www.glacierglove.com
Devistator Custom Turkey Calls: Manufactured & sold by Yoder's Original Deer Scent: This is a company that is new to making turkey calls, but the calls are made like they have been making them for years. I had the pleasure of trying one of their friction calls and several of their mouth calls. The friction call is very well made, easy to use, and sounds great. I had gobblers that would double and triple gobble at this call. I also tried the double reed call, the triple reed call and the triple reed double frame call. The double and triple reed calls were very easy to use and work exceptionally well. For me, the double frame call was a little tougher to use and get use to, but once you master it, it will become your favorite mouth call. I will give this company an unconditional THUMBS UP------ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WEBSITE: www.yodersoriginal.com
Cavitron Buzz Baits: A buzz bait that fish seem to enjoy sinking their teeth into, the Cavitron Buzzbait is an exceptional buzzbait that can be fished extremly slow so that short strikes are virtually eliminated. This bait comes in a variety of colors and sizes and it is one of the best running buzzbaits that I have used. I tied one on and on the forth cast, I had a 2lb largemouth hooked. I went on to catch several more bass and even caught one bluegill on this bait. This is an accomplishment since the lake I fish gets a lot of fishing pressure. Be sure to ask for them at your local baitshop or order online at the website : www.cavitronlures.com I Would Recommend This Bait To Anyone That Enjoys Seeing A Bass Hit A Topwater Bait
Limbsaver Recoil Pad: I have shot a lot of guns from 22's to 338's with different types of recoil pads on them. This recoil pad was tested on my Mossberg 835 Ultimag using 3.5" Winchester #5 turkey loads with a non-ported turkey choke. I am not an engineer but I am willing to say that the felt recoil was reduced by at least 40%. I hated to try to pattern this gun before, but now I can actually shoot it more than 3 times with out swearing. I recommend this recoil pad for anyone that has a hard kicking gun, especially for young shooters that are just learning. This will help the youngsters as well as the older generation in holding on target and not flinching because of recoil. This pad comes in a variety of styles to fit many different guns.

Cheek-n-Stock Cheek Pad: This is a very well crafted leather wrap around pad that fits around your gun stock to rest your cheek on while shooting. I tested this on my turkey gun this year and found that it works exceptionally well. If you have ever had your cheek bruised from a hard kicking gun, this pad is just what you need. When bringing the gun up to your shoulder you feel the pad againest your cheek and you are automaticly looking down the sights, thus helping you get on target a lot faster. Then after pulling the trigger, you don't have to check for loose teeth. Check This Out---Fine Craftmanship---Highly Recommended
RYNOSKIN: I recently went turkey hunting in Kentucky for a week and as usual, I didn't get a turkey (YET). Something else I didn't get was chiggers and ticks. This time of year in Ky is bad for ticks. The temperature reached 80 and still the Rynoskin felt cool. This stuff fits like a second skin only better. I am so impressed that I am going to wear it while picking blackberries this year, that way I don't use all my wife's nailpolish on chiggers.
UPDATE: I wore the Rynoskin while picking blackberries this year and only got one chigger, and that was around my watchband. I never got a chigger or tick on me anywhere the Rynoskin had me covered. Best of all, it felt that I stayed cooler while wearing it than I did otherwise. Great Product!! Highly Recommended
SUFIX FISHING LINE: I loaded one of my bait casters with 12# DNA and fished some of the worst waters I have seen for a while. The lake level was 20' higher than normal and trashy. I abused this line, caught several big smallmouth bass, got snagged and stretched the line several times and NEVER had to retie. This line has excellent knot strength and flexibility, has very low memory, and I never had a backlash. I never even had a backlash when I was casting into the wind. I am so inpressed with this fishing line, I am going to put it on several more reels instead of the brand name line that I usually use. I would RECOMMEND this fishing line to anyone that enjoys fishing.
Hammer-n-Hollow Diaphragm Wallets: This is perhaps one of the most useful items a hunter can carry afield. The wallet holds 6 diaphragm calls along with your tags and licenses. It even has a pencil so you can fill out your tags. It comes in 2 camo patterns, Real Tree & Mossy Oak. I used mine for the first time this past weekend while scouting and it worked great. You can carry it in your shirt pocket or pants pocket but don't be caught in the field without it. GREAT PRODUCT
Real Turkeys III CD by Lovett Williams: This is a very informative cd of live spring turkeys and thecalls that they make. Beginner or veteran turkey hunters can learn things about the calls and mating calls of spring turkeys from this cd. Can you tell the difference between a hen yelp and a gobbler yelp?? I found things on this cd that I never knew and haven't even thought about. If you turkey hunt, I suggest picking up a CD to brush up on your calls.
